Hump Day Tarot Forecast 5.7.25

Deck: Tone Le Lone Tarot

This is a keystone reading. I pre-select a card based on the theme I’m feeling, and that card becomes my keystone. I shuffle the deck with the keystone in it. When the deck feels right, I turn it over and sift through until I find my keystone, then I pull the two adjacent cards in front of it and behind it.

The keystone I chose is The Hanged Man because I wanted to know what I could use a change of perspective on, or what would help me to see differently.

Behind us

King of Pentacles Rv: Greedy, short-sighted, irresponsible with money, overindulgent, impulsive. Instead of a leader, this figure is overbearing and relies on intimidation to get their way. And they are quite used to getting their way! I’m just gonna say it. This is Trump, 100%!

I noticed the artist added a Marcus Aurelius book as a prop and I find it very interesting. In a nutshell, he was a Roman Emperor who was also a Stoic philosopher during an age of relative peace, calm, and stability for the Roman Empire. He believed vice was the primary evil in the world and that virtue was true happiness. I’m still stewing on this, but it’s basically the antithesis of Trump’s actions and attitudes.

The Tower: Trump’s first 100 days has been sheer destruction for destruction’s sake. We haven’t even felt all of the fallout yet, but everything from constitutional rights to the economy will continue to get worse for a while.

Keystone

The Hanged Man Rv: Interesting that this one came up reversed. I was looking for the change of perspective this card brings, but this position shows resistance, discontent, and revelations. Certainly all of this is true. What’s being revealed about the goals and priorities of this administration is driving massive discontent, which in turn is driving more and more resistance.

It’s seemed like for every one person speaking out or resisting, I see 10 people attacking them and celebrating the destruction. So maybe the change of perspective is that those of us who are outspoken are not alone.

Ahead of us

Whatever way this goes, it looks like a win for one group is a loss for the other. The people will still largely be divided along political lines.

The Sun: Joy, optimism, energy, happiness. If the tides are turning in favor of our inalienable rights, then YES! I am ready for the sunshine! But this could also be joy and optimism for those who want more destruction of the constitution, the economy, and the environment.

Three of Swords: This could represent the butt-hurt headed for the president and MAGA overall. However, it could be heartbreak for those of us who want to restore everything that’s been taken away from us and strengthen the guardrails so this doesn’t happen again.

There will be winners and sore losers no matter what, and much more work is ahead of us.
