  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 8.22.25

    Deck: Northern Animal Tarot

This deck has cute bonus cards for moon phases, seasons, etc. I shuffled the new moon card into the mix and then pulled the two cards under and above it.

    Four of Pentacles:

We are in a mode of gathering up resources like there’s a communal instinct that a hard winter coming. We’re hanging onto every penny, and all our stuff. Self-protection mode, disaster planning. While it is always good to be prepared, just remember “you can’t take it with you.” Don’t get buried in the pile, and be ready to spend a little when you need to.

    The Lovers:

We must make sure our choices align with our values, and support our higher selves and our closest relationships. There is a vulnerability in The Lovers that we are called to embrace. it may be hard to trust others in this Four of Pentacles mode, but we must take others’ needs into account as well as our own.

    The New Moon:

The new moon is the dark, quiet time between cycles. Ideal for reflection, planning, new beginnings.

    Queen of Wands Rv:

Now is the time to reconnect with our core and acknowledge what we’re doing *right*! We tend to strive for continual improvement, but let’s reflect on what we’ve accomplished in the last month, the last year, the last decade if need be. We have all made astounding progress, done things we thought we wouldn’t ever be capable of, and grown in ways we never imagined!

    Five of Pentacles Rv:

As part of an eclectic spiritual minority, we have gathered to give and draw strength. Whatever else is going on in the world, we have grown together spiritually and become a community across platforms and out in the world. We are connecting like never before in history! Whatever material, social, physical, political, or financial hardships we face, WE ARE FUCKING MAGIC Y’ALL!!

    Deck: Tone Le Lone Tarot

This week’s reading is very targeted to healing and transformation.

    Two of Cups Rv:

Self love is the name of the game this weekend. We are putting ourselves first, and being careful not to overextend ourselves with superfluous commitments.

    Six of Swords Rv:

We have seen this card a couple times in recent weeks denoting healing and moving forward, however hurt we are. However, this time around the card is in reverse, which shows us turning inward and actually experiencing personal transition and resolving unfinished business.

    The World Rv:

Looking back on a cycle of life that’s recently ended, we are seeking closure. As with the card above, things may seem unfinished. We don’t understand how it ended or why, so we might spend some time this weekend mulling it over, but not to excess. Be gentle with yourself and more will be revealed.

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 8.8.25

    Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot

    Queen of Beasts (Wands) Rv:

This is the Queen of Beasts at her worst; using her influence to turn people against each other and dominate them. She sees other people as weapons and pawns to get what she wants. She strives for control over her image and reputation to gain more power and influence, and the privileges that go with it.

    Justice Rv:

There is no justice, lawlessness prevails. Dishonesty and corruption are status quo. The powerful escape accountability for exploiting and victimizing others. The system is rigged in their favor, they built it that way.

    Ten of Swords:

Every transgression, act of cruelty, and injustice is a stab in our backs. The innumerable wounds inflicted are holding us down and preventing us from realizing our dreams and potential. Our life force is being stolen from us.

Clarifier card: How will we rise? What is our power?

    Seven of Cults (Pentacles):

Stay focused on the long term. Plan, set goals, take one step at a time. Like germinating a seed, progress will happen so slowly that you can’t see it in real time. In this card, the ghouls lining the path outnumber and outsize the tiny devils, so they don’t see them as a threat. Your invisibility is your superpower, use it to your advantage!

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 8.1.25

    Deck: Monstarot by Joanna Nelson

    Five of Pentacles Rv:

You are building material security after a period of loss or for the first time ever. It feels pretty good to have a little cushion.

    Six of Swords:

Even though things are finally feeling ok there are echoes of worry from the way things were before. That pinch of coming up short is still sitting just below your gut.

    Knight of Pentacles Rv:

You got here by being diligent and making good decisions. You advanced little by little. The Knight of Pents is a warning not to tip over the line into perfectionism, but also not to get too loose a grasp on things. Basically keep going as you have been. This is your sign that you’re on the right path!

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 7.18.25

Deck: Crow Tarot 1st ed, MJ Cullinane

    Three of Cups:

Connect with others and embrace joy! We’ve each been through a lot, this world has been through a lot, but we’re not alone. As the old phone commercial used to say, “reach out and touch someone!” Be vulnerable, open your heart, and soften up a bit.

    Six of Swords:

Calmer times are ahead of us and we’ll get some relief. This card carries a tinge of sadness in the reprieve because while we *are* moving forward, we are carrying some pain. These wounds will be with us a long time, but they won’t hold us back. It’s ok to acknowledge the hurt, even in the celebratory moment of the Three of Cups.

    King of Wands:

Upright kings give us stability, and this one influences us to start thinking of a vision for the future. What does success look like in the next phase of our life, the next quarter, or next week? We are gaining confidence in our vision for the long and short term future, and success is near if we stick to it!

I recently learned about the symbolism of the tiny lizard in this card, which reminds us to shed what is no longer serving us and heal, which resonates with the Six of Swords. Whatever pain is carried into the future will be healed with the stability and focus of the King of Swords.

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 7.11.25

    Deck: Tarot Disassembled

While the news cycle is still flooded with horrors, the cracks are beginning to show and light is shining through.

    Queen of Swords Rv

Emotion is subverting logic among the ops. Things have approached a self-destructive fever pitch where the evidence in front of their faces is stronger than their cognitive dissonance.

    Ten of Wands

Where they used to feel empowered in their group think, their nurturance of this hateful paradigm has become a burden as they begin to experience consequences of such magnitude that they can no longer justify the sacrifice. Their friends who are still staunch Red Hats have ostracized them for weakness, and even the most compassionate humanists don’t trust their sincerity. They are left with their asses out in the wind.

    Knight of Swords

As we continue to expose the hypocrisy, sabotage the plans of the powerful, and fight for the vulnerable, the base will continue to crumble. Our quick thinking, and decisive action will have greater and greater impact. We will be an endless wave of knights in shining armor galloping in on white horses, swords glinting in the sun!

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 7.3.25

    Deck: Northern Animal Tarot

I see our theme this weekend as acceptance and embracing the moment.

    Three of Swords Rv:

Recovering from heartbreak and creating distance from what or who hurt us. A protective stance is perfectly justified. Putting the shitty situation in the rearview mirror we can let loose a little.

    Page of Pentacles Rv:

Right now we’re living in the moment. Some might see it as irresponsible or being scattered. Yeah we’re, flying by the seat of our pants for a minute, but everyone needs a little spontaneity in life. Rebel against the grind!

    Nine of Cups:

Satisfaction and emotional fulfillment comes from letting go and having a bit of immature fun. To the scolds who say, “are you quite pleased with yourself?” we say, “YEAH ACTUALLY!”

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 6.27.25

    Deck: Somnia Tarot

I don’t know where each of you are on your path to accepting our modern dystopia and feeling the loss of the world we once knew, but this weekend’s pull is all about gaining perspective wherever you’re at in the grieving process.

    Page of Pentacles:

Optimism, manifestation, goal-oriented. This is us believing we can make a difference with our combined creative energies! Even with all the best intentions in the world, there’s a bit of denial baked into this card given the context of “all the terrible things.” Pro: it shows resilience regardless of circumstances. Con: it’s a little naive to believe it’s all gonna turn out F I N E.

    The Star Rv:

Disconnection, despair, lack of purpose. The spark has gone out. The depression stage of feeling lost and like giving up. This is when we step back and take care of ourselves and try to reconnect with whatever inspires us. If this is where you’re at, rest. Then catch that next wave of momentum to either reengage with the Page of Pents, or with the next card, Death.

    Death:

Destruction, letting go, transformation. This is anger transitioning toward acceptance. It’s the furious fight against oppression, greed, ||genocide||, and injustice of all kinds. It’s also knowing when we’ve given all we can, and letting go of what we can’t change. The Death card means this transformation is bigger than all of us. We will continue to transform to meet the moment, and we won’t let the bastards grind us down.

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 6.20.25

    Deck: Wild Unknown Tarot

Yikes dude. Well, this weekend’s forecast isn’t great, but at least we can brace ourselves!

    Wheel of Fortune Rv

Reversal of fortune, gambled and lost, fucked around and found out. It’s an unlucky turn, but this, too, shall pass.

    Daughter (Page) of Cups Rv

We may have difficulty grappling with real life right now. We may be tempted to put our heads in the sand. Retreating into another world via a good book or bingeing a series can be cathartic but totally unproductive.

    Ten of Swords

We’re approaching a painful ending to a conflict, but absolutely needed in order to progress. There’s a knock-down, drag-out fight that will force everything into the light. It’s gonna suck but it needs to happen.

    Strength

I felt like the 3 cards above were leaving me hanging, so I pulled this as a clarifier. Regardless of whatever is headed our way, we find strength in each other, and we can withstand the shitstorm.

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 6.14.25

    Deck: Aquarian Tarot

This reading feels like a cosmic hug. And boy, do we need it!

    High Priestess

The energy everyone is putting out into the world has gained momentum and is manifesting into something tangible, something positive. We are creating a new reality from our idealism.

    Nine of Rods (wands)

We are resolute! Our faith and resilience is being tested. And tested again. We continue to hold the line, and we won’t be intimidated into silence.

    The Star

Let this be our guiding light, this slight glimmer in the darkness. We continue to make progress in the dark and to recover from the traumas inflicted on us. We now know which way is up, we are no longer reeling. We are focused and attacking fascism on *all* fronts mundane and metaphysical!
