Deck: Northern Animal Tarot
Ten of Swords:
OK first of all, don’t panic! I know this is a lot of swords. 😬 The Ten of Swords is a feeling of defeat, being crushed by hostility or opposition. Whoever they are, you feel like they won and you are mourning a loss. You may be feeling resentful, exhausted, overwhelmed, sad.
Eight of Swords Rv:
This card is actually positive, especially in connection to the other cards. It means you are no longer blinded by the bullshit, whether it’s gaslighting or propaganda, you’re seeing through it and untangling yourself from these fake bindings. Your mind is free and your body will follow.
Death:
Whatever died by the Ten of Swords is fertile ground nurturing new growth. What is dead is gone forever, but it is regenerating something better to sustain you. That’s not to diminish the pain of the loss because that still needs to be honored. But as you emerge from the binds of the Eight of Swords Rv, so your new life will grow back from pain.
King of Swords:
This is the most reassuring card! It is still a sword, but it has transformed from a tool of conflict and sharp pain into the tool of intellect, clear thinking, strategy, and ambition. The artist chose to use the wise owl as the animal to possess this tool; think about the attributes of the owl and how you can mirror them as you move forward: silent, vigilant, patient, and deadly accurate!
