You are stuck in a pattern of waiting until the last minute and riding the ‘hurry hurry’ adrenaline rush over the finish line. Then relapsing back into slugging forward. The little Pinocchio guy depicted suggests there’s a dishonesty in working this way, and the position of Page suggests this is a rookie move.

It looks like your procrastination could be rooted in perfectionism. Like, why bother doing it if it’s not going to come out perfect? Or perhaps boredom, and what you used to love just isn’t creating sparks anymore. It’s incredibly difficult to switch gears, but focus on what you have control over, and double-down on the parts you enjoy. The position of Knight suggests people look to you for leadership or expertise, and you should defend your reputation.
Seven of Wands:
You sometimes feel like your competition has you on the back foot and putting you on the defensive. In the words of RuPaul’s momma: “If you stay ready, you ain’t got to GET ready!” So really assess what it is you want to learn or contribute and put your energy toward what will make you stand out. The best defense is a good offense.

Sometimes standing out professionally means you have to be more independent and disconnect a bit from the coffee clique and gossipy peers. Getting caught up in other peoples’ bullshit will certainly drag you down. Rising above might bring you a different kind of heat and might make you feel a bit alone. Now is the time to take yourself a little more seriously, and others will, too.
